The "OJCIEC" on the stone means "father."
The "l" at the end of Michal is actually a Polish letter and is pronounced like
a "w" in English.
Grave stone for Teofil Edimonde Kozyczkowski and Maryanna Ostrowski
Kozyczkowski in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Polonia, Wisconsin.
The top line reads, "Tu Spoczywa S.P." Which is Polish for "Here Lies in
Holy Memory." The UR is the Polish abbreviation for "born" and the UM
is the Polish abbreviation for "died." LIST is the Polish abbreviation for
November, and WRZES is the abbreviation for September. The words in between read,
"Prosi o zdrowas Marya." This is translated to "please say the
Rosary (or pray) for them." Maryanna's last name is spelled Kozyczkowska
because it is the feminine version of Kozyczkowski. MARCA means March and the last
line translates to "she died when she was 67 years old."

9/15/1811 in Ugoszcz. Line 7 is for "notices in the book of baptism" and
the line reads "no notices." The last line is where the record came from
and when - Ugoszcz on the 25th of May, 1991. The rest is the Church's official
stamp.

This shows that M. v Kozyskowsky was born in Carthaus in the land of Prussia and that he
was a "Landesman" or "man who works the land (farmer)."
Francisca's "trade or business" was wife (frau) and the children's occupations
